DuPont DOW FILMTEC SW30-4040 elements have one of the highest flow rates available to meet the water demands of both sea-based and land-based desalinators. Commonly used in on-board Watermakers to create drinking water from seawater for yachts, boats, and cruise ships, DOW FILMTEC marine SWRO elements offer the highest productivity while maintaining excellent salt rejection. DOW FILMTEC SW30 elements may also be operated at lower pressure to reduce pump size, cost, and operating expenses

DuPont (formerly DOW) FILMTEC SW30-4040 is FDA – 21 CFR 177.2550; Food and Drug Administration Compliant.

DOW FilmTec vs DuPont FilmTec & Membrane Compatibility Notes:

  • DowDuPont merger was completed in 2017 and FilmTec Corporation was moved to DuPont. DOW Water Solutions and DOW FilmTec Membranes are now DuPont Water Solutions and DuPont FilmTec Membranes.

  • FilmTecMembrane SW30HRLE-4040 (255048) was discontinued by DuPont in 2022. The factory-recommended replacement is SW30-4040.
